Most "New" Boxes are Not Perfect
We hear it everyday, "My boxes are new, just got them at the pharmacy, they're perfect!"
Most likely, only about 20 percent of new boxes from the pharmacy are in perfect, mint condition.
A large majority of them have minuscule to readily apparent dents and dings. Some of our national distributors refuse them, others accept them. Most likely, though, a dent or ding will be underneath the prescription label.
Please don't remove the prescription label. Let us do it. We have special tools and skills for the task at hand.
Accu-Chek Guides tend to tear the perforations at the top. Freestyles tend to bleed ink when rubbed. One Touch Ultra Blues tend to wear at the corners. Accu-Chek AP and SV have sturdier boxes than the others. Precision Xtra's get smushed rather easily.
Treat your boxes like eggs and pack them carefully for the most value. Thank you.
