Beware of Tampered Boxes
When is a perfect box of test strips not so perfect?
It happens on occasion that we receive a box from someone that is mint condition in every way. The date it 12 plus months out. The box sides are slick and shiny. There are no dents or dings. However, the open flap is glued to the edge. RED FLAG. Most factory sealed boxes are glued 1/4 to 3/8's of an inch from the flap edge.
This one, you can tell that it has been re-glued and not squared creating a crease in the middle of the tab. Someone nefariously sold us a previously opened box. Beware!
