How It Works / FAQ

Please bear in mind that we cannot price match over inflated test strips prices from certain competitors. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Research a company prior to mailing in your test strips. We are BBB Accredited. Click the link for more information.

1) Fill out the Request FORM for a Label or a Box with Return Label. 

2) Carefully wrap your package of Unused, Unexpired, Undamaged Boxes of Diabetic Test Strips and mail it to us. Leave the Prescription labels ON the boxes. We remove the labels for shredding. [Do not damage the boxes in any way. Any damage will result in a discount of the payment price.]

3) Attach your shipping label and give it to your postman or local post office.

4) Once package arrives, we inspect and grade the quality of the boxes. Finally, we send your payment via Check, Paypal transfer, or Bluebird quickly and securely.  Items received after 3pm may be processed for payment the following business day. See our TOS for more info.

5) For Fastest Pay, ask for a Return Label, send your own box and request PayPal or Bluebird payment. We email the return label to you and we send your payment via PayPal after we receive your boxes.

How to Grade Boxes by Condition

MINT Boxes are defined as store shelf condition that do not have any stickers, creases, dents or any type of mark with slick and shiny sides.

 

DINGED boxes are defined as having any type of bend, crease, dent, ding or sticker attached.

 

DAMAGED boxes include any rip of any size, crushed, stained, market or pen.

Vital Points

 

Look over your boxes before packing them up.  Ensure all the boxes are sealed, undamaged and unexpired.  Boxes that arrive damaged are subject to a minimum 25% to 75% reduction in pricing at our discretion.

 

Damage is considered as any dent, ding, tear, crease or writing on any part of the box.  Boxes with broken seals will not be accepted.  If you're unsure it's best to contact us HERE.

 

DO NOT remove any labels, stickers, or tape from the boxes.  Removing labels may damage the box REDUCING your payout.  DO NOT write or draw on the labels as this may also damage the box decreasing your payout.  We will remove and destroy once your boxes arrive.

Quickly get your package sent back out to us.  Market Prices fluctuate and can go up or down.  

 

Your pricing and payout is determined once your package is delivered to our office. Any telephone quote over the phone is merely a rough estimate dependent on expiration date, quality of box, plus market factors.

1-Q- How does it work?

 

A - We mail you a postage paid box, we inspect and grade your shipment, then send you payment. It’s that easy!

2-Q - What are my options for mailing in my test strips?


A - You may request a Return label or a mailing kit. You place the return label on a sturdy box with enough packing material to keep the contents from rolling around. If you request the mailing kit, you will receive a  box in which to place the test strips. 

3-Q - Is it legal to sell diabetic test strips?


A - Yes, it is legal to sell test strips.  They are an "over the counter" item and can be bought off the shelf of any drugstore without a prescription.

4-Q - How do I know I will get paid?


A - We have been buying test strips for over ten years and are members of our local Better Business Bureau. We have an office with a published physical address. We are a legal business entity with a solid reputation and excellent seller satisfaction. Essentially, we are business partners recycling diabetic test strips. We generally pay PayPal and Bluebird within ONE BUSINESS Day and Check within TWO BUSINESS Days. We are not responsible for payment delays of fees by the payment vendor.

5-Q - Are there any special terms and conditions?


A - (a) Yes, See our Terms & Conditions page for details. Test Strips boxes must be unexpired, unopened in MINT PERFECT condition for the best prices. We reserve the right to thoroughly inspect all boxes for major or minor imperfections, which may include dents, dings, rips, tears, discoloration, or damage from writing. Boxes must be fully sealed.


(b) To qualify for the 1-day (Paypal, Bluebird), or 2-day (Check) guaranteed payment, order value must be $25 or above. Orders under $25 may be forfeited or donated. Note that we reserve the right to pay on Business Days. If you need to get payment outside of these times, make arrangements beforehand.

 

6-Q - What does TestStripsAndMore.com do with the test strips?


A - In essence, we recycle test strips that would normally be discarded, paying the seller with cash, and allowing for uninsured or unemployed people who need diabetic supplies to purchase them.

7-Q - How will I receive payment and how long will it take?


A - There are several options for getting paid: Check, PayPal, and Bluebird. After your order is received and verified, we will process your payment via PayPal/Bluebird Card (usually in 1 business day) or send you a Check which you should receive usually within 3 business days. If you request a box and label, it may take 5 to 7 business days for the Post Office to process your shipment for payment of postage and deliver it to us. If you request a Post Office mailing label by email, it will take less time. If you request a United Parcel Service (UPS) label by email, once you send your test strips, it may take 3 to 4 business days for them to be delivered to us. UPS service is not available in all areas. Provide correct PayPal email address for payment. Be aware that PayPal and Bluebird may incur small fees outside of our control.

8-Q - What kind of test strips can I sell?


A - We only buy the brands listed on the Sell Your Test Strips page.  The boxes must be sealed with minimal damage.  We may purchase large quantities of off brand test strips. Call us first. For best prices, the expiration date must be at least 12 months from today. We do not buy damaged or expired boxes, there may be fee for returning them. 

9-Q - Does TestStripsAndMore.com buy any other diabetic supplies?


A - Yes, we may buy lancets. We also buy Smoking Cessation products. Call us first. We purchase items on a case by case basis. Just call us.

 

10-Q - Does TestStripsAndMore.com accept boxes with pharmacy labels?


A - Yes, we accept boxes with pharmacy labels.  We ask that you please DO NOT attempt to remove pharmacy labels. You may damage the boxes and we pay less for damaged boxes. DO NOT damage the box in any way. Please let us remove the labels.

11-Q - Why do you have to send your test strips before you get paid?


A - It is important that you only send unexpired, undamaged test strips in boxes that are sealed in pristine condition. Please do not send any other brands that are not listed on the Sell Your Test Strips page. We thoroughly inspect the boxes for any minor damage. 

12-Q - What are the terms & conditions for your referral program?


A - Customers who refer friends and family to us in order to get the $25 bonus must comply with the following rules:


(1) Orders by the referral customer must meet our minimum standards for a qualifying order:
a. Quantity: Their order must include at least 2 boxes of 50 or 1 box of 100.
b. They must have a brand that we buy:
Accu-chek Aviva Plus, Accu-check Compact Plus, Freestyle, Freestyle Lite, Insulinx, One Touch Ultra, Verio, Smartview, Contour (boxes of 100 only, no 50’s) and Contour Next (boxes of 100 only, no 50’s). No other brands will qualify for the payment of the referral bonus.


(2) The referral customer must send their test strips within 30 days of contacting us.


(3) Referring customer understands that they will not be paid the bonus until the referred customer has sent in their test strips and have been received and verified as a qualifying order.


(4) The referral and referring parties must NOT reside at the same physical address.


(5) The referral customer must not have previously sold test strips to us.


(6) TestStripsAndMore.com reserves the right to terminate or change this referral bonus offer at any time, for any reason.
